On the last weekend of March, in the parish of Our Lady Mary Help of Christians in the city of Jacarei, a lay group attended the Missionary Formation Meeting organized by Fr. Arnaldo Alves.

The theme of the meeting was “The spirituality of an SVD evangelist” This group of 22 lay people already participates in the life and mission of the Divine Word Missionaries. It was an opportunity to share their experiences. There were also input sessions on the Trinity, Exodus and a spirituality that comes from the heart.

On April 5 the same group met with Father Superior General Heinz Kulueke in the parish of Our Lady of Fatima in Sao Paulo. Fr. Alves with the support of Fr. George Fernandes came up with a noteworthy formation and both are looking forward for the next meeting to come.
