Two parishes in the Region of Voraralber in Austria organized seminars on Climate Change. The symposium expressed support for Paris agreement for climate change last December.
Many Organizations and NGOs, such as Vorarberg´s Initiative for the Working group Renewable Energy, The Alps Union, Doctors Union, Natural Protection and Environment Union, Fair Trade and others, participated in the activities organized that day. There were about 50 organizations that supported the Initiative. The theme was Pope Francis latest Encyclical "Laudato Si" so as to make Environmental issues and private ways of living responsibly as regards the Climate change and environmental issues. Fr. Christian Stranz of the Divine Word Missionaries and Justice and Peace Coordinator and Integrity of Creation, in Austria, participated actively in the seminar. They were about 350 participants in the seminar, most of them parents and students.
