A clean water well was recently completed for the minority ethnic people. This tribe is of the Chu Ru people in Duc Trong, Lam Dong Province. The priest who ministers to these people is an indigenious himself and his name is Francis Savier K'Roih, ministering at Da Loan Parish, of Da Lat Diocese.

In the past, the 70 families of this tribe had to draw fresh water from a creek 3.5 kilometers away from where they are living. During the dry season, they had to begin drawing water as early as 4 a.m. They had to compete themselves for only a few litres of water, and the water is not that all clean. The Mission Office of the Vietnam Province had collaborated with the then pastor to dig a well and installed water pipes leading directly to their homes. The water is pumped two times a day to two 5000 litres water tanks and is pumped directly to their homes.

Upon completion they would have a clean water system leading to their homes. The Mission Office also helped to build a pave road around the area so that they have a clean path to walk on during the wet season.
