First, the children were taken to different departments of the police station and explained what each department does. Later a police officer explained to the children about various duties of the police force and procedures followed by the police department. There were 56 children who were delighted to visit a police station for the first time, interact with police men and women and even shake hands with them. The police women/men too welcomed the children with smiles.
